Totally forgot about time or date, but it’s
somewhere in the beginning of August 2006
Saturday.

Today the sun is there again.
Is that a good thing or a bad news?
We will go on to continue our holiday
and explore the rest of South Africa.
It is definitely hard to leave this
place, that ‘swampy’ feeling,
before you know it you are stuck
here and want to stay forever.
I can’t describe or find the right words
to do justice of this experience.
It was a real treat! The amazing
beauty of the surroundings, the remoteness
see and hear how the Pondo people live,
culture and nature, candles, rainwater,
crayfish and of course let’s not forget
about the hot chocolate, wonderful music.
Thank you very much for that and all more.
It is also your relaxed way of living or
being that makes you fit in so easily and
feel very comfortable and at home.
You warned us for that thickthing
but not for that Pondo fever. Do you
think there’s a cure for it too?
